Rains that were hitting all around, finally got to the Moberly
racetrack at 3pm, forcing a postphonement of tonite's activities. So
next week on June 27, it will be a full show at 24 Raceway with all
of this week's Daisy Duke Look-alike contest brought to you by Clear
99, the Dukes show cars and skit, the Smokie & the Bandit, and Andy
of Mayberry skits by the Prather family will now take place on July
27. This will also be the annual Hobby Stock Special and the
scheduled Sportsman mechanic's race. All of this for only a $10
admission with kids 12 & under admitted free. A heck of a deal!

On
one of the best & fastest track surfaces yet this season at 24
Raceway, and in his first win of the season in the A-modified class,
Hannibal's Mark VanWinkle finally found the way back to the winner's
circle after a couple of years.

This week, the mechanic's will get a
chance to drive those Hobby Stocks as the regular drivers will trade off
doing some required tire changing on the front stretch. The fast action
will take place again on these high banks, three miles east of Moberly,
Missouri on U.S. Highway 24 this coming Saturday, June 13th with the
adult ticket prices now ONLY $10. Children, ages 12 and under, are
admitted
free.
Pit gates will open at 4pm. Pit passes are $25. "Dirt Track Racing at
its Best" is back with grandstands open at 4pm this Saturday at 24
Raceway, Moberly.

Special took place at 24 Raceway after being rained out five weeks
earlier, and for the 3rd week, Rob Chase had the Hornet to beat. |

race, Josh Fisher scored his fifth career O’Reilly Auto Parts Winged
Outlaw Warrior win Saturday night at 24 Raceway in the 10th
Annual Gary Scott Memorial.

SPORTSMAN SPECIAL Results are in.
The Sportsman class competed for a 25 lap feature in their annual
Sportsman Special. A $400 prize went to the winner Clinton Dale
of Moberly, Mo.

SPORTSMAN SPECIAL COMPETE FOR 25 LAPS AT 24 RACEWAY THIS
WEEKEND. ULMA RESCHEDULED.
Next weekend on Saturday, April 25th, the Sportsman class will
get to compete for a 25 lap feature in their annual Sportsman
Spectial. It's 25 laps for the full body cars with few engine
limits, and a $400 prize to go to the winner with $300 to
runner-up! Grandstand tickets for this night are $12 for
adults and free for kids 12 & under. Pit passes will go for
$25. Driver registration for the Sportsman class will be $40
for track members and will include the pit pass. Non-members of
24 Raceway pay a $50 entry. Pit gates open at 4pm. Joining
the Sportsman Class will be the other four classes of A-modifieds
& B-modifieds, Hobby Stocks and the 4 Cylinder Hornets.

The Late Model Spring Challenge event, rained out last
weekend, has been rescheduled for May 9. First place will be
paying $1000 to win in this ULMA points event, sponsored by
PepsiAmericas. "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" begins at 7pm,
with a short driver's meeting at 6pm, followed by hot laps at
6:15. Please see the website of

additional info. The fast action will take place again on these
high banks, east of Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24 this
coming Saturday. "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" is back with
