July 30 -
The Friday rains have totaled
2 and a half inches so far, and with the amount of water standing on
the infield, it pretty much ends any chance of racing on Saturday,
July 31st at 24 Raceway.
Moberly, MO (July 26) - After
a Saturday off from racing at Moberly, which actually would have
been canceled by that 6pm rain anyway last weekend, the program will
resume this coming Saturday with the annual Hornet Special.
Moberly, MO (July 20, 2010) -
With the rain pattern staying
the same for some three months now, by getting a downpour every three
days or so, the Moberly racetrack has managed to get in the last four
races as scheduled, between those rainstorms.
Moberly, MO (July 13, 2010) - Racing
at the high banks of Moberly will resume after a weekend off, and this
week it's with the annual Sportsman Special.
Moberly, MO
(July 9) - With the first
half of the 2010 season completed, the racing events at 24 Raceway
will continue, but with a revised scheduling that will still pack in
most of the planned racing specials for the summer, along with the
remainder of the mechanic's races.
Moberly, MO
(July 6) - The Firecracker
Forty came off with a half dozen cautions in a great race, but the
W.O.W. Sprint race had only a single one in some 3-wide and 4-wide
racing in the Bob Whitehead Memorial this last Saturday night at 24
Raceway this last weekend.
MOBERLY, MO
(June 26) - With only two
days between race nights at 24 Raceway this last week, all five of the
regular classes got a race in for the weekend of June 26th, with the
Sportsman and Hobby Stock classes each getting two feature starts on

"Dirt Track Racing at its
Best" took a second weekend in a row off at 24 Raceway due to too much
wetness on the grounds, but the 2nd annual car show did take place on
Sunday.
May 22, 2010
By 1pm Saturday, there was still too much water standing on
the track's infield to have both racing AND infield parking for
tonight's race program. And the outside parking areas are simply too
much of a mushy place to allow vehicles in without getting stuck. So,
even though there's clear skys and a breeze today, it just didn't get
the place dried out with enough time left in the afternoon hours to
prep the place for racing. "Dirt
Track Racing at its Best" returns next weekend with the W.O.W. sprint
cars to Moberly, MO at 24 Raceway in the 11th annual Gary Scott
Memorial. Racing starts at 7 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:15,
