LIKE A BROKEN RECORDING, OVERNIGHT RAIN WASHES OUT RACES AT 24 RACEWAY FOR AUGUST 14

MOBERLY, MO (August 14, 2010) -The overnight and very early Saturday rains totaled an inch at the track and by 1pm Saturday, both the infield conditions the racetrack itself just have not dried out in time to prepare the surface for tonight's racing program.  This and a fair chance of rain again this evening have caused the plug to be pulled on tonight's racing at Moberly.  Watch the website for the All-Star event and Hornet mechanic's race to be rescheduled once again.   

"Dirt Track Racing at its Best" returns in two weeks to Moberly, MO at 24 Raceway with the USMTS "Hunt for the Championship".  The Hornet Special is also rescheduled to that night.  Racing starts at 7 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:15, following the short drivers' meeting at 6pm.  See the website of www.24racewayinmoberly.com for more info on the rescheduled events, for flyers, or for rainout announcements.
